Hi friends,
Dale and I are participating in the first annual All for Lungs & Lungs for All, a run/walk in support of those battling lung disease. Our dear sister/sister in law , Faye Delaney, received a double lung transplant in March 2023.
Although the transplant was a success, Faye , unfortunately, developed many severe post surgery complications and , after a courageous battle, she finally succumbed to the problems she was faced with.
We saw, first hand, the amazing support system that Faye and her family had available to them when it was decided she had to have the transplant. The enormous cost associated with moving to Toronto and having this procedure is, to say the least, daunting.
