Hello Friends & Family,

I am participating in Teal to Heal, a run/walk in support of ovarian cancer, on May 10th, 2026.

This cause is very important to me because my Mom is living with ovarian cancer.  Also, my sister and I are both BRCA2+, greatly increasing our chances of developing ovarian cancer and breast cancer.  In 2023 we both had our fallopian tubes and ovaries removed as a preventative measure.

At the inaugural event in 2022,  I was the Top Individual Fundraiser but my Mom wasn't able to join me because she was undergoing chemo treatments at the time.  In 2023, my Mom received the award for Top Individual Fundraiser!!  She is a warrior!  I am a now a member of the Planning Committee and my Mom & I will be actively seeking sponsors for the event.

All proceeds will go toward the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation's
Teal at Home fund, which will support those living with ovarian and
other gynecological cancers.

Donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.
All gifts will make a huge difference in the lives of many Cape Breton families.
