2025 Teal to Heal

Hi friends,

Some of you may know that my wife, Jeannie was diagnosed with gynaecological cancer in 2023. She has made an excellent recovery, but it was long and hard (and still ongoing). We received a lot of support - from friends and family, as well as from charitable organizations that help with travel expenses and other costs.

That's why I'm participating in Teal to Heal Cape Breton, a run/walk in support of gynaecological cancers. I want to run in honour of Jeannie's journey and spirit. And to support all the people that are undergoing treatment in Unama'ki/Cape Breton.

Now, let me tell you that I have not run more than a few hundred meters since high school. And, now, I signed up for the 5k run. Gulp!

Please help me meet my fundraising goal so that I am not gasping for air and holding my side for nothing.

Donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.
