Hi! My name is Aubreigh MacArthur. I'm 15 years old & proud to say I'm Caleb's big sister!
When I was 5 years old & getting ready to start school, my 3 yo brother was getting ready to fly to Toronto for a bone marrow transplant as part of his cancer treatment. Caleb had to stay at Sick Kids Hospital with my parents for over a month. I missed him so much! After his transplant, he could not come back home to Cape Breton for 100 days!!
To honour my brother & his brave fight, I wanted to cut my hair & donate it to make wigs for children with cancer. So at age 5, I donated my hair for the first time, then a second time at age 8, & for the third time at age 10 (this time I fundraised over $3000 for Caleb's Courage!!!).
This September, it will be 10 years since my first hair donation for Caleb. To mark this significant anniversary, I will be donating my hair for the 4th time in memory of my little brother. As a way to raise important funds & awareness for childhood cancer, I am challenging my family, friends, & community to give what they can to support my efforts. I have a set a very ambitious personal goal to reach, or maybe even surpass, my last total of $3000!!
I will be running for my superhero Caleb, as I do every September, at:
