Hi friends,
I'm participating in Teal to Heal Cape Breton, a run/walk in support of ovarian cancer and other gynaecological cancers. If you know me, you have most likely heard about my mother Marilyn. She was the strongest person I have ever known. I can not put into words how wonderful she was but for anyone that was lucky enough to meet her, you already know. Mom battled cancer for over 20 years and you would never hear her complain about it as she continued to live a full and happy life, where she continued to support myself and my siblings but more importantly build a relationship with her four grandchildren. As most of you know we lost my mother to Ovarian cancer in 2012 but not one day goes by that she is not thought of and remembered in such a positive way. Love and miss you always!
